HatBuilder was founded by Luke Olson while studying at Utah State University, with a vision to create the ultimate destination for custom headwear. What started as a small project quickly grew into a full-scale operation. Today, HatBuilder is powered by a talented and passionate team dedicated to making the hat customization process easy, exciting, and accessible for everyone.

Since launching, we’ve proudly crafted over 1,000 custom hats — and we’re just getting started. Backed by a growing team of designers, embroidery specialists, and customer service pros, we’re now aiming even higher: our goal is to create 100,000 hats by the end of this summer.
